Endosomal signaling of plant steroid kinase BRI1

Article Abstract:

Endosomal signaling of plant steroid kinase BRI1 was studied and it was shown that the steroid receptor localizes to both plasma membrane and early endosomal compartments. Distinct signaling and trafficking mechanism was seen in this class of receptor which indicates that the use of endosomes as signaling compartments is a broad phenomenon in eukaryotes.
