Article Abstract:
Research reveals that the short-range signal Slit can also function as long range signal and runs through receptors Rob2 and Rob3. Data indicate that expression of the receptors in the axons orient axons on to lateral position of the central nervous system of Drosophila.

Article Abstract:
Results show that Drosophila neuroblasts sequentially express the transcription factors Hunchback-Kruppel-Pdm-Castor. Data indicate that Hunchback and Kruppel specify early-born temporal identity in neuroblast cell lineages.
