Dispersal ghosts in Oceania
Article Abstract:
The understanding of human phenotypes in the Pacific with the help of anthropological genetics is discussed. The indeterminate or unpredictable changes that lead to phenotype and genotype effects in human dispersal are unique selective incidents, unique hybridization events, unique reductions in number, swamping by mass migration and mutational drive.

Interaction of different hemoglobinopathies in eastern India with a view to establish genotype-phenotype correlation
Article Abstract:
Molecular biology research has helped establish a relationship between genotypes and phenotypes for eastern India that assists prenatal diagnosis and counseling for anemia. Various hemoglobinopathies have been genetically determined through this study.

Duffy blood group genotyping in French Basques using polymerase chain reaction with allele-specific primers (PCR-ASP)
Article Abstract:
Duffy, a blood group antigen, can be used to represent models for population genetic studies. With the help of a polymerase chain reaction, the distribution of Duffy blood group was identified in a sample survey in the French Basque country.
