Disequilibrium in some Cepaea populations

Article Abstract:

The relation of disequilibrium in the snail Cepaea nemoralis to morph frequency for the color and banding loci is examined for a large and widespread set of data. The results propose that populations are generally subject to selection of varying directions at different places and times, acting on the phenotype.

Stochastic and deterministic effects in gene regulation

Article Abstract:

The article describes that by experimental manipulation a deterministic system can be caused to show stochastic regulation and persistent phenotypic diversity arises within a genetically identical population of organism.

False discovery or missed discovery?

Article Abstract:

An approach of multiple testing based on control of false discovery rate (FDR) is presented. Delvin et al (2003) showed that FDR methods could be successfully implemented in a model selection framework.
