Diploid-dependent regulation of gene expression: a genetic cause of abnormal development in fish haploid embryos

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on haploid goldfish embryo phenotypes. The study determining the diploid-dependent regulatory mechanism of gene expression for the spatial patterning of the vertebrates' eye has been carried out via the analysis of haploid goldfish embryo phenotypes, and the results are reported.

Adaptive basis of codon usage in the haploid moss Physcomitrella patens

Article Abstract:

Patterns of codon usage bias were studied in the moss model species Physcomitrella patens. The results showed that codon bias is not shaped by mutational bias, but rather by weak natural selection of translational efficiency in Physcomitrella patens.
