Differential timing and control of noncrossover and crossover recombination during meiosis

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on the meiosis. Results indicate that during meiosis in Saccharomyces cerevisiae noncrossover heteroduplex products are formed at the same time as the Holliday junction intermediates and that the crossovers are formed via the Holliday junction intermediates resolution.

Replication from oriP of Epstein-Barr virus requires human ORC and is inhibited by geminin

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on the hypomorphic mutation made in the ORC2 gene of a human cancer cell line. Results indicate that the cells with the hypomorphic mutation in human ORC2 can survive with a slight prolongation of the cell cycle G1 phase.
