Article Abstract:
The organization of spatial and functional cells in tissues is determined by cell-cell adhesion proteins that play an important role in imitating adhesion and cell sorting development. The regulation of cadherin-mediated cell-cell adhesion is determined by a set of protein interactions of the cadherin extracellular and cytoplasmic domains.

Article Abstract:
Structural analysis of the yeast Cue2 protein CUE domain in complex with ubiquitin shows intermolecular interactions involving hydrophobic surfaces and a patch on the ubiquitin surface, suggesting that the complex may function as a paradigm for ubiquitin recognition and signalling by ubiquitin binding proteins.

Article Abstract:
Three-dimensional structure of E-cadherin cytoplasmic domains complexed with beta-catenin reveals that beta-catenin binds its various partners on to the same surface. In the phosphorylated state, E-cadherin interacts with a hydrophobic patch of beta-catenin.
