Article Abstract:
The estimates of DNA sequence diversity and divergence in a newly isolated nuclear gene in the endemic Hawaiian plant genus Maui and Oahu Schiedea globosa populations were reported. The study revealed that a relatively high nuclear DNA diversity in the S. globosa population illustrated the usefulness of DNA sequence-based approach to the population genetics of island populations.

Article Abstract:
Population structure and alternate phylogeographic hypotheses of temperate type and arctic-boreal type for the mountain hare are examined by using nuclear microsatellite and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) sequence data. It is indicated that the species more closely maps to phylogeographic patterns observed in arctic-boreal rather than temperate species.

Article Abstract:
The article explains the characterization and the genetic and phenotypic diversity exhibited by the sub-Saharan African isolates of Caenorhabditis elegans and Caenorhabditis briggase. The diversities are found to be majorly affected by the important ecological factors.
