Corynebacterium ammoniagenes class Ib ribonucleotide reductase: transcriptional regulation of an atypical genomic organization in the nrd cluster
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on ribonucleotide reductases which catalyse the synthesis of deoxyribonucleotides required for RNA repair and replication. The authors describe their study of these reductases carried out in accordance to their metal cofactors and organic radicals.

Rhodobacter capsulatus gains a competitive advantage from respiratory nitrate reduction during light-dark transitions
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on Rhodobacter capsulatus N22DNAR (super)+ possessing periplasmic nitrate reductase. The authors have investigated the role of nitrate reduction in R. capsulatus growth during light-dark cycles in carbon-limited continuous cultures.
