Control of intrinsic transcription termination by N and NusA: the basic mechanisms

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on the intrinsic transcription termination which affects gene expression regulation in prokaryotes. Results indicate that the negative and positive termination factors control the termination efficiency via the hairpin folding direct modulation and via the pausing change at the termination point.

Bacillus subtilis glutamine synthetase controls gene expression through a protein-protein interaction with transcription factor TnrA

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on the global transcription regulator, Bacillus subtilis TnrA. The results of genetic studies demonstrate that glutamine synthetase is required for the TnrA activity regulation in vivo.
