Many diversity consultants believe that diversification of workforce particularly in European nations like France biased with cultural issues might be particularly important in strengthening the continent's scientific workforce which is undergoing brain drain. Aging populations and stagnant birthrates in many nations mean an inflow of foreign students and workers is essential to keep academia and business thriving and some countries recognizing this fact have framed phase in laws banning employer discrimination on the basis of race, religion and belief, sexual orientation, age, and disability.

Article Abstract:
Duke University's Curtis J. Richardson, a wetlands expert visited Iraqi Mesopotamian marshes in 2003 after Saddam Hussein's regime destroyed all marshes in search of oil and had forced the marsh Arabs and the localities to leave the area. But after the marsh initiative undertaken by Canada some 40% to 50% of the marshes are reinundated, accompanied by a remarkable recovery of plant and animal life and hence people have started returning to its traditional lives within the marshes and to farm along their outskirts.
