Comparison of the Kid's Block Food Frequency Questionnaire to the 24-hour recall in urban Native American youth

Article Abstract:

The suitability of the Kid's Block Food Frequency Questionnaire (Kid's Block FFQ) for use in urban Native American youth is assessed by comparing the nutrients measured by it with a 24-hour recall. Marked differences are noted in estimations for the two methods, and it is concluded that the high prevalence of obesity in Native American youth requires more accurate evaluation tools, since the Kid's Block FFQ is found to be less appropriate than the 24-hour recall method.

Role of depth in eye distance measurements: comparison of single and stereo-photogrammetry

Article Abstract:

A study of facial quantitative assessment is required in several clinical applications to monitor growth, plan surgery and diagnose genetic syndromes. A comparison taken of a single and a stereo photogrammetry measurement on 10 facial distances showed that a single photograph was prone to errors due to misalignment of the camera, however in a stereo photogrammetry, means and standard deviations were larger.

Repeatability and interobserver error of digit ratio (2D:4D) measurements made by experts

Article Abstract:
