Churchill, a zinc finger transcriptional activator regulates the transition between gasrulation and neurulation

Article Abstract:

Results point out that the zinc finger transcriptional activator, Churchill, functions as a switch and exhibits different roles of FGF, which is involved in the slow induction Churchill. The Churchill is expressed when cell migration stops and regulates cell ingression.

Lipid rafts: elusive or illusive?

Article Abstract:

Research examines the validity of the notion that lipid "rafts", which are microdomains enriched in cholesterol and sphingolipids, are localized to plasma membrane. Possible lipid domains other than plasma membrane rafts are also discussed.
