Chronic Helicobacter pylori infection does not significantly alter the microbiota of the murine stomach
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine the impact of Helicobacter pylori infection on the murine gastric microbiota by culture and terminal-restriction fragment length polymorphism. The results suggest that neither acute nor chronic Helicobacter pylori infection appeared to affect the gastric microbial composition despite changes in the stomach pH and Helicobacter-induced inflammation.

Characterization of microbial communities and composition in constructed dairy wetland wastewater effluent
Article Abstract:
The authors have investigated microbial composition in the wetlands constructed for dairy washwater contaminant removal. The characterization of this composition has been carried out, and the results have demonstrated that the wetland system depends on the development of healthy microbial communities.

Secretory antibodies do not affect the composition of the bacterial microbiota in the terminal Ileum of 10-week-old mice
Article Abstract:
Results show that secretory antibodies do not control the microbiota composition as revealed by the absence of systematic differences between the dominant components of the mucosa-associated bacterial populations of the terminal ileal walls of mice.
