Chembiosynthesis of novel 6-deoxyerythronolide B analogues by mutation of the loading module of 6-deoxyerythronolide B synthase 1

Article Abstract:

The facile synthesis of monoketide acyl-thioesters was utilized and investigated as substrates by a 6-deoxyerythronolide B synthase (DEBS) enzyme deficient in starter unit loading. It was found that chemobiosynthesis through feeding 'monoketide'-thioesters to the version of DEBS that lacks the loading module has proven to be a productive and flexible strategy to rapidly generate6-deoxyerythronolide B (6-dEB) analogues and explore the nature of the requirements for the thioester carrier.

Genotypic diversity among Brevibacillus laterosporus strains

Article Abstract:

Research is conducted on the typing method to analyze Brevibacillus laterosporus bacterial chromosomes. Experiments include the use of multilocus enzyme electrophoresis in examining B. laterosporus strains and creation of randomly amplified polymorphic DNA conditions for B. laterosporus genome analysis.
