Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on the listeriolysin O, the virulence factor secreted by the pathogenic Listeria monocytogenes acting as a pore-forming cytolysin. The truncated listeriolysin O proteins have been secreted into the L. monocytogenes culture supernatant to bind to cell membranes and the results of the experiment are reported.

Article Abstract:
Research reveals that the cytolysin ivanolysin from Listeria ivanovii can replace listeriolysin in L. monocytogenes for its phagosomal escape, intracellular reproduction, and in vivo survival. Data indicate that the expression of ivanolysin is not cytotoxic.

Article Abstract:
An analysis of determining antibiotic resistance markers and mercury resistance levels in recombinent mycobacteria showed that the mercury resistance is a gene expression. The testing method proved to be reliable because of the stability of the test results from different media. The testing methods involved inserting cloned mercury operons into the shuttle vectors of different bacteria. The results of the research will be used in the development of a vaccine to treat drug-resistant organisms.
