The pattern of physical activity during weekdays in school children and adolescents is studied to determine the pattern of moderate-to-vigorous activity (MVPA). 84 children within the range of 8-15 years old were assessed. In conclusion the MVPA showed that boys engaged more in MVPA than girls, though girls tended to be more active during school hours and boys after school.

Article Abstract:
A cross sectional intervention study of daily physical activity of overweight/obese children is compared when they attended a physical activity program and when they did not. It is suggested that a physical activity program can help increasing daily physical activity in obese children with a special focus on moderate-to-vigorous intensity physical activity level.
