Beta-catenin activation is necessary and sufficient to specify the dorsal dermal fate in the mouse

Article Abstract:

Beta-cateninin promotes Wnt signals, which help in development of central dermomyotome. Using genetic fate mapping in mouse, the effect of activating beta-cateninin present in En1 cells on dorsal dermal fate is analyzed.
