Bacterial growth stimulation with exogenous siderophore and synthetic N-acyl homoserine lactone autoinducers under iron-limited and low-nutrient conditions
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on the marine bacteria. The growth of this bacteria under iron-limited conditions has been investigated.

Effect of exogenous siderophores on iron uptake activity of marine bacteria under iron-limited conditions
Article Abstract:
Many marine bacteria are dependent on other bacteria to synthesize and excrete siderophores. Siderophores are iron-binding compounds produced by most prokaryotic cells, but more than 60% of the 421 strains examined produced no detectable siderophores.

Discovery of a marine bacterium producing 4-hydroxybenzoate and its alkyl esters, parabens
Article Abstract:
A microorganism, a marine bacterium, which produces petrochemicals, that is 4-hydroxybenzoate (4HBA) and its alkyl esters (parabens) is reported. A marine bacterium that did not decompose but rather synthesized 4HBA and its alkyl esters was discovered.
