Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on Arctic charr. The authors report the study of the associations between single nucleotide polymorphisms in candidate genes and growth hormone axis and age-specific growth rate of Arctic charr, and they demonstate the existence of association between the allele at growth hormone-releasing hormone and putuitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide gene marker and juvenile growth.
