Daily physical activity and physical fitness from adolescence to adulthood: a longitudinal study

Article Abstract:

Higher physical activity levels on a regular basis assists physical fitness significantly. Fitness in males first recorded from 13 to 18 and remeasured at 30, 35 and 40 years was the basis for this finding.

Adolescent performance and adult physical activity in Flemish males

Article Abstract:

This article examines the relationship between adolescent physical fitness and adult activity levels in Flemish males during a twenty-seven year longitudinal study. Findings indicate significant differences in physical activity levels related to sports, work, and leisure activities between adolescence and middle age.

Associations between daily physical activity and physical fitness in Flemish males: a cross-sectional analysis

Article Abstract:

This article examines the relationship between physical activity and physical fitness. Research indicates that occupational and leisure-time activity, such as participation in sports, increases overall physical fitness as measured by a series of tests for muscular and cardiorespiratory fitness.
