Article Abstract:
Chaotic dynamics has provided tremendous amplification of neuronal activity that is required for central nervous systems (CNS) arousal, sensitively dependent on the initial state of the CNS. This theoretical approach has shown that analogous to phase transitions in a liquid crystal, CNS arousal systems have gone through a phase transition and have emerged under the control of orderly movement control systems.

Article Abstract:
Research explores the use of the propargylamine type B monoamine oxidase inhibitor as a preventive therapeutic treatment for parkinsonism. This and glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase possess neuroprotective mechanism and mediate survival of the injured neurons. Data suggest that the neuroprotective mechanism of propargylamines is independent of monoamine oxidase inhibition.

Article Abstract:
A broad comparative, non-model system approach to illuminate evolutionary patterns in organismal ontogenies is proposed. Hormones coordinate life history transitions in a wide variety of animals and non-animal taxa and it is suggested that the modular nature of hormonal signaling systems predisposes them to be used in these diverse developmental and evolutionary concept.
