A new selective medium for Bifidobacterium spp
Article Abstract:
Research conducted on the medium for Bifidobacterium spp. free of antibiotics with lactulose as a carbon source is analyzed. Results demonstrate the composition of a new medium and indicate that low pH is responsible for the Enterobacteriaceae growth.

Light conditions affect the measurement of oceanic bacterial production via leucine uptake

Research has been conducted on the heterotrophic bacterial activity. The effect of the photosynthetically active radiation on this activity has been examined via leucine uptake rates and the results are discussed.
