A new class of transcription factors mediates brassinosteroid-regulated gene expression in arabidopsis

Article Abstract:

The subdomains of BES1, a novel protein were dissected and it was established that BES1 is a transcription factor that binds to and activates brassinosteroids (BR) target gene promoters both in vitro and in vivo. BES1 defines a new class of plant-specific transcription factors that cooperate with transcription factors like BIM1 to regulate BR-induced genes.

A new FronTIR in targeted protein degradation and plant development

Article Abstract:

Auxin is a small molecule that regulates F box proteins and is involved in ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation. Profound implications for understanding plant physiology and development and for defining new modes of regulation of SCF ubiquitin complexes are provided.
