A genetic evaluation of mating system and determinants of individual reproductive success in atlantic salmon

Article Abstract:

Research into the mating and reproductive success of Atlantic salmon is presented. Highly polymorphic microsatellite loci was used in estimations and it was concluded that mating among the species is more flexible than traditionally-believed.
