A first assessment of genetic variation in Welwitschia mirabilis hook
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on Welwitschia mirabilis. The phylogeographic study of W. mirabilis has been carried out via the analysis of genetic variation between and within different locations in Namibia using random amplified polymorphic markers.

Programmed cell death and hybrid incompatibility
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on developmental aberrations in plant hybrids. The hypothesis that hybrid compatibility arises from mechanism imbalances which cause male sterility in hermaphroditic plants has been tested, and the results are reported.
