Creditors and shareholders will benefit from the precedents being established in the country's courts that will help resolves many of these issues.

Developing a code for corporate ethics

A code of corporate ethics should be endorsed by the chairman and/or CEO of a company and reflect the needs, aspirations and culture of the firm. An ethics audit should be undertaken before a code is developed. Several large US corporations are appointing ethics officers.

The new economic survey reveals that women in 20s and 30s are more confident about their financial prospects when compared to men of same age group. The other emerging differences in the male and female financial perceptions are reported.
