Smaller businesses, like larger enterprises, will find benefits in outsourcing management of vehicle fleets. Financiers and fleet managers are now providing a comprehensive range of services to small and medium-sized businesses. CPAs have encouraged clients to focus their talents on their businesses, and outsource non-core business activities. By removing non-revenue generating tasks, fleet managers provide CPAs with additional chargeable time.

The company car and tax reform

Article Abstract:

The Ralph Committee Review of Business Taxation could have a greater effect on the tax effectiveness of the company provided vehicle than the proposed goods and services tax or other tax reform measures that have been implemented. Liability would be transferred to employees from employers and the valuation of benefits distortion would be removed.
