Article Abstract:

The Amway of Australia, which conducts series of seminars, was disallowed deductions for the costs of running the seminars on the basis that they were entertainment expenses. However, the Taxation Office reveals that if the tax participants are entertained at a conference, it means that the costs of transporting participants to the conference and their accommodation are deductible.
