The decision on Income Tax appeal in favor of Ryan, in Ryan v F C of T is furnished with a brief description of the case. The case relates to superannuation funds contributions. The prospects of changes in Australian laws relating to tax avoiders' being brought under criminal law are also discussed.

Three latest cases related to Income Tax are reviewed. The three cases were of Sleight, which invested into a tea tree scheme, Puzey, which invested in a sandalwood plantation and Macarthur, who was a civil engineer employed with Main Roads Department.
