Less red tape, more skilled workers

Article Abstract:

The provisions of the new employment regulations that facilitate the recruitment of skilled labor from overseas to permanent positions in Australian business enterprises are examined. The new regulations do away with considerable red tape, which existed in this area. Such provisions help in tackling the shortage of skilled labor in the country. However, some politicians disagree.

The recent amendments to superannuation funds regulations in Australia facilitate more flexibility in the usage of the fund. What it means in other words is that a person can access these funds before retirement, at the age of 55. The implications of the recent changes are discussed in death and compared with the previous provisions.
