The new CPA Program is expected to have a greater management focus with the introduction of two new segments, Business Strategy and Leadership and Knowledge Management. The segments provide an understanding of business strategies for long-term performance and enable candidates to apply the knowledge management principles in workplace settings.

A new elective segment, CPA 109 Knowledge Management (KM) complementing the most popular elective CPA 104 Strategic Management Accounting (SMA) is discussed.

CPA program set for revamp

Article Abstract:

A new program is developed by CPA Australia as a part of its educational strategy that will include two semesters. CPA Australia recommends that only one CPA program segment be attempted at a time but candidates can enroll a maximum of three segments per semester.
