Article Abstract:

The complaint regarding the U.K. budget by the Chancellor Gordon Brown was that the details of complicated measures were not debated well enough before being passed into law. It was felt that an urgent root and branch review of the U.K. tax and benefits system is needed as the U.K. tax system is becoming complex.

Article Abstract:

The major part of changes in the tax laws is the inclusion of the public sector within Australia's GST system. Therefore, it is suggested that the public sector bodies should make sure that they have in place strategies seeking to deal with taxation risk in an effective and efficient manner.
