Article Abstract:
The International Credit Association (ICA) and the ICA of Greater Washington, Inc sponsored the Credit Industry Forum on Privacy to provide a forum for the credit industry in which a unified position on privacy could be articulated. The forum, which took place Feb 6 and 7, 1990 in Arlington, VA, was held to recognize the great progress in technology that has taken place since the Fair Credit Reporting Act was passed in 1970. The meeting was concerned with the congruency of privacy law and current technology. The conference included discussions on the impact of privacy legislation and regulation on segments of the credit industry, and how the industry can lobby legislatures on privacy issues.

Article Abstract:
The 1992 International Credit Conference (ICC) provides members of the International Credit Association with the opportunity to interact with fellow members concerning the various issues confronting the credit industry. The Leadership Forum serves as one venue for participants to interact. Several credit education sessions are also lined up for both novices and veterans in the credit industry. The educational programs will have topics such as the 'Competing in the Consumer Interest,' 'Credit Industry Panel,' and the legislative and global issues facing the credit industry. The 1992 ICC will be held at the Boca Raton Resort and Club in Boca Raton, FL.

Article Abstract:
The 1991 International Credit Conference will be held in San Diego, California at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina from May 23rd until May 26th. New features will include roundtable discussions, workshops, and educational programs. Both United Airlines and Hertz will be offering discounts to participants.
