The Australian Parliament introduced a Financial Services Reform Bill (FSRB) on April 5, 2001, which forms part of the government's overall financial management reform. What concerns accountants in the FSRB is the Australian Financial Services License which replaces all other licenses concerning investment advice and financial planning.
