A GST decision

Article Abstract:

The implementation of government sales tax in Australia is analyzed. The large business corporations supported the introduction of GST where as small business companies were skeptical about the compliance requirements. The analysis shows that gross domestic product (GDP) rate has grown in the country post sales tax implimentation.

An analysis is presented on the tax frauds and the tax and criminal laws of Australia. The Taxation Administration Act details a range of offences including failure to comply with a requirement of the taxation law.
