Article Abstract:

The implementation of government sales tax in Australia is analyzed. The large business corporations supported the introduction of GST where as small business companies were skeptical about the compliance requirements. The analysis shows that gross domestic product (GDP) rate has grown in the country post sales tax implimentation.

Article Abstract:

A review of the logic behind the taxation of sports stars' incomes is presented. The conflicts between Australian social and tax policies related to the sports stars' incomes are also discussed.
