Article Abstract:

Four automobiles are tested under winter driving conditions. The Mitsubishi Diamante LS is tested with the Traction Control on and off. The Mercedes-Benz 300E, 300E with ASR and 300E with 4Matic are also tested. The Mercedes-Benz with 4Matic was generally judged the most controllable and stable.

A Tire Technology Test is carried out on different types of tires under different conditions of temperature and weather. Results showed that even under wet conditions BMW dives under heavy braking, they have a good grip in snow.
