General Motors Corp has hired the talents of Ron Zarrella to help employ newer marketing strategies in its quest to create more sharply define products within its five automobile divisions. Marketing alone, however, cannot substitute for successful pricing and product quality.

A 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora, driven 40,000 miles, held up well. Several Car and Driver staff members who drove the car appreciated the overall comfort, but tall drivers did not like the headrest. Good acceleration, plans for the 1996 model and other topics are discussed.
