Volkswagen introduces Passat TDI whose price starts at $23,060 and Touareg V-10 TDI starting at $57,800 both with the advantage of newly developed smoke free engine developed jointly with Bosch based on new technology 'Pumpe Duse'. Passat TDI with 134 bhp at 4000 rpm achieves 27 mpg in city / 38 mpg on highway whereas with Touareg V-10 gives instantaneous 553 lb.-ft. torque at 2000 rpm from its 5.0 liter twin-turbocharged engine.
