What is the NHTSA doing?

The NHTSA has asked General Motors Co to recall 4.7 million pickups made between 1973 and 1987, even though the trucks conform to fuel-system integrity standards. The NHTSA is being bullied by consumer groups such as the Center for Auto Safety.

1994 new cars
