Ohio Rep Edward Kasputis passed a law against speed traps after learning of such a trap in the small town of Linndale, OH. Police were issuing 5,000 tickets per year to raise $400,000 in revenue on a 418-yard stretch of I-71. The mayor denied the use of questionable practices.
