Article Abstract:

The basic means of transport in the Iraq military, the Humvee that can carry 4400 pounds of weight was overloaded with 5000 pounds of armor plating leading to a tire failure in every patrol, endangering lives and mechanical failure on an average of 300-mile intervals. The Pentagon enlists a prototype of Ultra AP that was built with the chassis of a Ford F-350 truck, an a/c system, shock absorbing material, and the parts are made to serve multiple functions as in a racing car.
