Article Abstract:

The participants of Formula 1's traveling circus were worried about sand dunes drifting down the main straight and sand blowing across corners of F1's newest track in Bahrain. The problems were resolved by the Bahrainis and in the race Michael Schumacher won the inaugural Bahraini Grand Prix in the Ferrari F2004.

Formula 1 racing: the nature of the beast

Article Abstract:

Formula 1 automobile racing is rumored to be launched in the US in the year 2000. The event, considered a British enclave, is run by Bernie Ecclestone and Max Mosley. Other countries are trying to lure Formula 1 into their turf, including China, Indonesia, India and South Africa.

Various cars such as Maserati, Pontiac GTO and Mazda RX-7 Turbo that are a part of drifting, a form of motorsport which is about exhibiting vehicle control skills is presented. The performance of each car with regards to their driving style and controlling skill is described.
