Something fun to do while you're driving

Article Abstract:

Some people who read while they drive should drive a luxury car such as the Lincoln Continental so that they have something else to do while driving. The car has many buttons for several different computerized features. The button-pushing that is required can be either frustrating or amusing.

Balaschak meets Csikszentmihalyi

Article Abstract:

Balaschak's enthusiasm for building cars with difficult designs illustrates Csikszentmihalyi's theory that enjoyment is often maximized by challenges. Balaschak molded a steel fender for a replica of a 1938 Talbot-Lago coupe by referring to photographs of the car.

Article Abstract:

The speed limit should be 100 miles per hour. This would make people pay attention while driving, people would not get speeding tickets and Americans would no longer be jealous of the Germans. Besides, it would annoy Ralph Nader.
