Article Abstract:

The Catholic Church's revised Universal Catechism has inspired a number of writers and comedians to name their own favorite sins. Ten automobile-related sins are discussed, such as selling a Mustang GT and buying a Tercel just before your kid is old enough to drive.

The other Indy finds a new home

Article Abstract:

The Motorola 300 race was held at the newly-completed Gateway International Raceway in Madison, IL, on May 24, 1997. Paul Tracy won the race and recorded his 99th Indy-car win for Marlboro Team Penske. Tracy leads the standings with 85 driver championship points.

Dad's clunkers

Article Abstract:

A father's ongoing effort to buy the cheapest, workable used car available is described. It seems that each of the cars cost about $150 and each had at least one flaw, such as the 1949 Ford with a passenger door that often flew open, sometimes losing passengers.
