High-intensity-discharge (HID) headlights are contrasted with conventional incandescent bulbs, even with the latter operated in a halogen atmosphere and an arc of a heated filament generates their illumination. HID headlights offer increasing contrasts in night driving, of making reflective paint on road signs and lane markers into view.

Tech Tidbits: How old are those tires anyway?

Article Abstract:

Several guidelines by experts on the knowledge of aging of tires and their replacements are presented. It is indicated that tires degrade through inherent oxidation, loss of oils, ozone and acid rains and thus it is suggested that their maintenance schedules are necessary.
