Article Abstract:

A test drive of the 1992 Saturn reveals improvements over the previous year's models. One of the primary complaints has been the engine vibration and noise, but that has been reduced for 1992. Overall, the Saturn is probably the best small car designed and built in the US.

Article Abstract:

Road tests of the BMW 540i, Cadillac Seville STS, Lexus GS 400 and Mercedes-Benz E430 sports sedans showed the Mercedes Benz to be the best in performance. The E430 is not the best any of the categories but has high scores in most of the categories.

The Saturn Coupe SC1 offers simplicity and basic value with a $10,995 base price that is approximately $1,000 less than the previous model. The fuel economy also has been improved, but some engine power has been sacrificed in the process.
