Article Abstract:

The Maine Forest SCCA Pro Rally was held in Dec 1997 in southwestern Maine. The seven stages of the rally were held on snow-covered courses. Despite the unfavorable conditions and location, rallyists were able to show outstanding performance. Dan Sprongi, a four-time Canadian rally champion, won the competition.

The 1992 Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Rim of the World Rally in Southern California is described from the perspective of a navigator in the Subaru Legacy racing car of Chad DiMarco. This was the third in a schedule of 10 events on the SCCA Subaru Pro Rally Championship for 1992.

Daytona 1992; the hare beats the tortoise

The driving team of Masahiro Hasemi Kazuyoshi Hoshino and Toshio Suzuki easily won the 1992 Rolex 24 at Daytona Beach, FL. Their Nissan R91 finished over 32 miles ahead of the field. Details of the race are discussed.
