The thoughts and recollections of three former editors of the Road and Track magazine in celebration of the magazine's 50th anniversary are presented. These editors who pioneered and gave significant improvements to this magazine are Bill Brehaut, Terry Galanoy and Charles Gillet.

Road and Track's editorial staff travelled to many parts of the world to celebrate its 50th anniversay. The year 1997 became extra special with numerous escapades and adventures in Japan, HongKong, Italy and Connecticut.
