The car racetrack in Watkins Glen, NY, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 1998. The Watkins Glen racetrack is considered to be a legendary part of US car racing history. It has hosted all types of car racing, including Formula One and National Assn for Stock Car Auto Racing competitions.
